Hemangi Shah is a Cambridge-trained English language educator, games designer, profile builder, and social entrepreneur with a deep commitment to empowering students and parents to unlock their unique potential. With extensive experience in education, career counseling, and curriculum design, Hemangi specializes in helping students develop strong, holistic profiles that highlight their individual strengths and talents.
In 2013, Hemangi completed a Cambridge Diploma in Teacher Training, marking the beginning of her dynamic journey in education. Since then, she has trained over 1000 students from diverse curriculums, including ICSE, IGCSE, and IB, helping them master the English language in innovative and engaging ways. She is also the author of In A Nutshell, a graphical organizer that simplifies complex grammar concepts, making them accessible to all learners.

One of Hemangi’s greatest passions is her work as a Profile Builder. Through her company, The Counsel Co., she provides a space for both parents and children to better understand their strengths, weaknesses, and innate abilities. By focusing on Individual Enhancement Plans, Hemangi helps students develop personalized growth strategies that go beyond academics to address their emotional, social, and career aspirations. Her work as a Profile Builder involves guiding students to craft strong, holistic profiles that reflect their potential, enabling them to make informed, confident decisions about their futures. She collaborates with expert mentors and facilitators to offer students the best possible guidance, ensuring they have the tools they need for success.
Hemangi’s entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Prism Edutives LLP, where she and her partners designed 21 educational games that were widely praised at B2C exhibitions. These games are designed to enhance critical, analytical, and creative thinking, impacting over 10,000 children and empowering them to develop essential skills through play.
As a UCLA-certified career counselor and Global counselor with additional specialization in Profile Building, Hemangi is dedicated to helping students and parents understand their evolving needs and aspirations. Her services extend to mentoring, career counseling, and connecting students with internship opportunities, ensuring that their profiles are not just academically strong, but also well-rounded and ready for the future.
Hemangi is also the founder of Maadhyam Education Consultancy, where she and her co-founders design curriculums for NGOs and second language English learners. Her work in this space helps learners develop proficiency in English, equipping them with the language skills necessary for professional and personal growth.
Outside of her professional work, Hemangi’s interests span a wide range of activities including reading, learning, traveling, dancing, and singing—reflecting her belief in lifelong growth, creativity, and self-expression.
